The position of Shop Technician will play a crucial role in the performance and availability of our equipment. This position will be responsible for but not limited to the following: perform or assist with Bronto scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, mounting, and repairs. This position will be based in Abilene, TX and you will report to the Shop Service & Assembly Manager.
- Perform Bronto scheduled maintenance in accordance with checklists
- Perform or assist with large-scale Bronto repairs and unscheduled maintenance
- Perform and assist with troubleshooting of the Brontos in the Abilene facility
- Perform testing on equipment after maintenance and repairs
- Assist with Bronto mounting
- Perform or assist with fabrication when needed
Job Requirements:
- Must live in Abilene or the surrounding area
- Must have an active and valid driver's license acceptable by insurance standards
- Must have a good working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Must have experience in mechanical principles
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Fabrication experience is a plus
- Heavy equipment experience is a plus
- Follow workplace health and safety plans and procedures
