We have recently expanded our footprint to extend our engineering expertise in Cold Spray Repair services, with a full-time engineering employment opportunity in Southwest Texas near Dyess Airforce Base, just 7 miles southwest of Abilene, Texas.

General Summary:

  • Responsibility for performing engineering projects for Material & Processing Research and Development
  • Support industry standard practices for Additive Manufacturing (AM) process technologies and the requirements of the designated Performance Work Statement (PWS)
  • Maintain booth qualification and submit timely results to the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for submission to weapon System Program Office (SPO) for operator validation
  • Execute detailed manufacturing process over Cold Spray Repair Services (CSRS) for military aircraft.
  • Ability to interpret plans, drawings and qualification test plans; conduct mechanical testing, chemical and environmental analysis for Mechanical and M&P development.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, Qualification, Chemical and Mechanical Lab Testing (Fatigue, Adhesion, Micro Sectioning, Hardness, Porosity, Titration, Corrosion, Fluid Compatibility, etc.)
  • Design Engineering (FEA, Fatigue)
  • Engineering Drawings and Solid Modeling (SolidWorks.)
  • Technical Data Publication and Review
  • Perform other duties as requested


Candidate Skills & Capabilities Required and Preferred:

  • Computer Aided Drafting / Solid Modeling
  • Technical Writing
  • Mechanical Testing a plus
  • Material, Chemical and Environmental Analysis a plus


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (Mechanical or Materials Engineering) from an ABET accredited university.
  • Minimum two years of experience in Additive Manufacturing
  • Current Engineering Certification from a nationally accredited organization to perform CSRS and stay current on all training, certs and other qualifications.

Other Requirements:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the United States
  • As a condition of employment, candidates will be required to participate in a background investigation and be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
