Job Description
As IT Project Coordinator you will be a vital part of the IT team as you work with project teams to deliver value to the business. As a key contributor on the IT Project Management Team, you will assist in planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting out on various aspects of projects, including progress, developments, and forecasts. Throughout the project lifecycle you will communicate with stakeholders on their projects, assist with resource planning and project deliverables management to meet objectives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with project lifecycle from intake, planning, scheduling, monitoring, reporting, to closing.
  • Capture/assist with creation and update project plans and supporting documentation with tasks, notes, reporting, analysis, and other assignments as needed.
  • Communicate with stakeholders across the business to ensure the success of assigned projects.
  • Monitor various aspects of assigned projects, including progress and status reporting for assigned projects.
  • Identify, communicate, and support appropriate addressing of project questions, inquiries, and risks and issues, offering guidance and scheduling meetings as necessary to ensure items are addressed in a timely way.
  • Lead team sprint planning exercises for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with IT Project Management Team to continuously improve project delivery methods.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Associates degree in business administration, computer science, or related field is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of direct experience in project coordination or related experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong customer service focus is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and visual communication skills appropriate to diverse audiences is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in cross-functional team settings is required.
  • Ability to adapt responsibly to shifting priorities, demands and timelines based on evolving conditions is required.
  • Ability to work productively with ambiguity and conflicting requirements is required.
  • Proficiency in various project management and productivity software, such as Microsoft Office365/M365 is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to proactively learn and synthesize information to resolve problems and improve solutions is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with technical writing, including the ability to understand a business problem, draft requirements and translate into executable tasks is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of various project management structures and techniques as appropriate for project size and risk including agile and waterfall is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge, SAFe, and related areas is preferred.
  • Ability to help identify, and support facilitation and negotiation of stakeholder disagreements to reach effective compromises is preferred.
  • Certified Associate Project Management (CAPM) or related credential is a plus.
  • Work with project management tools and software is a plus.
