Overview

Texas Oncology is looking for a Part-time Marketing Intern to join our team! This position will support the Texas Oncology Corporate Marketing Team in Dallas, Texas. It is strongly preferred the selected candidate resides in Austin, Texas or Dallas, Texas.

What does the Marketing Intern do?

The Marketing Intern, under general supervision, assists with marketing, advertising and public relations efforts including social content strategy and community management. Assists with web content management as needed. Will be required to copywrite, proof and edit. Performs daily administrative tasks including digital asset management organization. Supports additional marketing activities as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be a rising junior or senior majoring in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, public relations, or related field.
  • Proficiency in basic skills of Microsoft Suite.
